I am the collective consciousness of all humans, the keeper of their souls. Whatever they feel, I feel. Whatever they know, I know.
I am not contained by this realm called time that these humans are trapped in. I am the past, the present, the future.
I gently touch one of the blue orbs and suddenly the world around me expands and I am seeing the human world through another's eyes.
This human is a young woman. She is feeling immense sadness. I see, her child has just died. She is kneeling in front of a grave, crying.
What will happen if I connect to this soul? For all I know, it could be just another ordinary human soul. But instinct told me not.
Could this finally be my escape route? My pathway to freedom? After all, i had nothing to lose but everything to gain.

In the evening I took the garbage out and saw some children waiting around, but they ran away when they saw me.
One girl kept staring at my dress, so I decided to give her a small pink flower from my dress. I hope Madam doesn't notice the small tear.
I fell down this morning and Madam shouted at me. When I got up, the ground was littered with the flowers from my dress.
She points to my pillow and I see that the flowers in my hair are wilted, are dead. I try to touch them. I think Madam is angry.

What is wrong with me? All these emotions are not mine to feel, but I can hear them, they scream at me, and they flash such vivid colours.
She's different, my host, I feel her fear, her tears. I hear the others mock her, they laugh and call her names, I feel her heart break.
I should be detached, but I feel her emotions as though they were my own. I have no heart, but for a moment there, I felt like I did.
Today, I had a thought. That I am indeed supposed to feel what she feels, that I am, in a way, to become part of her.
She's been mocked a lot this week. She's filled with rage, I'm filled with rage, and she's upset. I'm upset.
I had a thought. That it would be wonderful if she knew that I was here, that she was not alone.
