The Music Mentorship –
Music Production
Ever wondered about what goes on behind the scenes in making the songs you've been listening to? Or perhaps you write your own music and have always wanted to produce your own songs? Here's your chance to be introduced to music production through a six-session hands-on mentorship by two of Singapore's most established music producers – Don Richmond and Jason Tan.
Application has closed on 9 Oct 2011, thank you.
Who can qualify?
Open to aspiring musicians and music producers aged 35 and below who are interested to learn about music production. Depending on their areas of interest, mentees will be introduced to music production, song arrangement, the role of music producers and the tools to build professional-sounding songs.
Application process
Send us two of your music tracks (mp3 format) and a link to your music or music you have produced (if any) (eg. Myspace, Soundcloud, Bandcamp, YouTube). You also need to tell us more about yourself and why you wish to be part of the programme in a short write-up.
Selection process
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to an informal interview session with the mentors in end-October 2011. The mentees will be selected after this session.
Successful applicants
Successful applicants must commit to attend 6 mentoring sessions (to be arranged between mentor and mentees) between November 2011 and January 2012.
