Through a national call for submission, Noise aims to unearth new talent and inspire groundbreaking content by young creative minds in Singapore, propelling them to greater heights.

Open Category - Art & Design
Description It doesn’t matter if they’re simple illustrations, elaborate paintings, edgy street art or ingenious graphic designs; if it represents your creative energies as an individual, then it’s what we want at Noise Singapore.
The top rated Noise artists/designers could then find themselves:- Winning the Noise Singapore Prize grant worth S$5,000*
- Showcased at various Youth Olympic Games events in August 2010
- Exhibited in the Noise Singapore Festival Showcase and featured in the Noise Publication
- Interning at established creative agencies in Singapore
- Participants aged 18 and under: top works by young Noise artists will be exhibited at the International High School Arts Festival in Tokyo, Japan. One artist or photographer will be sponsored to travel to Tokyo for the festival opening in July/August 2010
* Noise Singapore Prize grant will be disbursed after winner submits a proposal for the grant. The proposal should help the artist develop skills and/or exposure, and can include recording an album, participation in international competitions, travelling to overseas festivals, publishing a book etc. The grant quantum is S$5,000.

Open Category - Photography
Description So you’ve accumulated hundreds of creative photographs but don’t know how to get them seen? Well, if they’re good enough for you, then they’re good enough for Noise. There is no restriction on the genre of photography, so pick any style you like and start shooting!
The best Noise photographers could then be:- Winning the Noise Singapore Prize grant worth S$5,000*
- Showcased at various Youth Olympic Games events in August 2010
- Exhibited in the Noise Singapore Festival Showcase and featured in the Noise publication

Description Noise Singapore is looking for raw, promising musicians, bands and voices to create original music to heat up the airwaves! Choose from pop to hip-hop, rock to country, jazz to heavy metal, classical to techno…or any other music you know of, so record your original tracks now and send them to us!
The most engaging Noise musicians would then:- Winning the Noise Singapore Prize grant worth S$5,000*
- Record one song in a professional studio
- Perform at the Esplanade Outdoor Theatre and Concourse
- Perform at Youth Olympic Games events in August 2010

Description Noise Singapore is proud to be a festival partner of the inaugural Youth Olympic Games (YOG) next year. This means that Noise musicians will be performing to an international audience and Noise works will be showcased at various YOG events and venues for the world to see!
This special Singapore 2010-themed category entitled “Celebration” has been created for works that celebrate the spirit of the Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Games. Stand to win attractive prizes like a laptop, a digital SLR, a digital tablet and iPod touch, and be featured in the Noise Festival Showcase and the Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Games if your works catch our eyes!Art & Design
