Despite abandonment_5

Abandoned buildings may seem devoid of life, and despite the fact that I was in an abandoned building; there were no feelings of abandonment. Even though it was no longer occupied, it would appear that signs of life still transpired within its hollow spaces. Traces of its past could be found, etched in surfaces and textures, the colors of which transcended the limitations of the aesthetic and materializes into a form of ambience; a kind of intangible warmth that could somehow be visually captured. It would seem that the abandoned buildings were no longer of any feasible value. However, as rays of light streaked through from without, they seemed to encompass hope and life, and that even the abandoned can still retain some good. Just like how memories seem to dull over time, with only shards of the desirable moments remaining, I strive to grasp the nuances of perfection exuded when I look upon the seemingly imperfect.
